Finishing the job
After printing twelve sheets of text, with gatherings B through N, the printers only needed a half sheet to print the last three pages of text in a shorter gathering O. The title page also had to be printed. If the printers were looking for efficiencies, then they may have printed the end of the play together with the opening page on one sheet of paper. We do not really know in this case. Try out some different possibilities in exercise 2 for how these sheets may have been printed.
O on a half sheet
There are three pages of text left to be printed. It is easy enough to use a half sheet to finish the job. You might notice that the last page is mislabeled. There is a G at the bottom instead of an O. That is likely a simple mistake—a result of someone misplacing one G in the O box of type.
