Digital Editor, Developer, Technical Advisor

The Folger Shakespeare, now housed at folger.edu, started life as Folger Digital Texts in 2012. At that time, I served as digital editor and interface designer and developer, working with Michael Poston on the digitization and encoding of the Folger Shakespeare Library editions and designing and building the website that housed the texts. Folger Digital Texts was rebranded as The Folger Shakespeare in 2020; the rebranding came with a brand new website, which I designed and built.
In 2023, the Folger Shakespeare Library launched a new, unified web presence created by Substrakt that incorporates The Folger Shakespeare as showcase content. I provided oversight for the Folger Shakespeare portion of the site on behalf of the Folger, and co-authored the Folger Shakespeare API, which feeds the texts and special features like video and audio accompaniment to the main site, as well as other applications.
